Pros: Lectures are like a discussion, it's not too fast, he gives a ton of extra credit.
Cons: Pretty cocky, and assumes you understand everything.
My class average for our second exam was a 47. That is ridiculous, obviously his teaching methods or exam difficulties should be altered.

Pros: he wrote the book so he knows everything in there.
lectures are at a good pace to keep up and write down important information.
Cons: Some lady that goes by the name of Dr.Parker will randomly TRY to teach the most crucial subjects of this course and will waste class time writing a reaction only to half way through realize she went about it totally wrong. Professor Loudon is cocky and rude. He is unapproachable and gets irritated with questions. he wrote the book so he gets offended if you don't understand something covered in the book or in class. not to mention the lab portion of the class is so poorly organized the T.A.s struggle to keep up with material. Why Loudon continues to write exams with an average of 30 and 47 I will never understand and then in class and through e-mail critisize our study skills is extremely insulting to myself as a prepharmacy student. If the average is a 47, Mr. "Cornell" professor/author, why don't you broaden your theories on why your students are failing to yourself, Dr. Parker, and Dr. Holladay.
Save your money, Loudon will still receive his 6 figure paycheck but your grade will suffer. Take this course at IUPUI and actually learn the material

Pros: Very Smart
Knows what he is talking about
Great pace in lecture
Can explain concepts effectively
Follows the book directly
Cons: If you fall behind in material he doesn't slow down
Great Professor! Good pace in lecture, fast enough for the fast learners and slow enough for most of the slower learners to keep their heads above water. All the examples go right along with the book. Read and understand the material in the book and you will succeed. Very, very difficult course and definitely a weed out course. If you can't handle it then you might not be in the right place.

Pros: NONE!
Cons: cocky
rude
mean
He wrote the textbook, so he expects his students to be as smart as him. He hates answering questions during class and helping students. Basically he's just very cocky and I regret taking his class.

Pros: opportunities for extra credit
Cons: you have to stay up on the material, and learn it the first time. If you don't understand one portion, the rest of the semester is difficult. Labs take a lot of outside of class time
